On September 16th and the 17th, I participated in the Juried 2 Day Autumn Art Festival in Durango, the cultural center of Southwestern Colorado. I was thrilled to have been accepted into my first event of this kind, a prestigeous and beautifully organized even only 1 hour away from where I live in Pagosa Springs.

I had an amazing couple of days of sharing and selling my work, meeting other artists and then I got the biggest surprise when on top off all the fun and good fortune I had here, I was awarded the 1st place award. What a good omen to receive recognition during my first 2 day art festival. I worked really hard to put together a professional looking booth and to fill it with a good variety of my Colorado mountain inspired artwork. I’ll be applying for sure to come back in 2024!
