This painting is inspired by a night sky full of stars above the red rock country of Southwestern US. But it is also inspired by three other paintings I painted a few months prior. When I lined up the three together, I immediately wanted to paint a panoramic combination of the three which have all sold as well. They are seen right below here.

Below are a few process shots of the new painting which was created with dozens of layers of acrylic washes – all details were added with acrylic paint markers of varying thicknesses and colors.
